Zutaten:
- 2 lbs chicken wings (about 20 pieces)
- 1/2 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder (can sub with fresh garlic, about 4 large cloves)
- 1 tablespoon minced lemongrass (optional)
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing cooking wine (can omit if you don’t have it)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha
Arbeitsschritte:
- In a large bowl, mix together Chinese five spice powder, ground black pepper, garlic powder, lemongrass, cooking wine, honey, sriracha, soy sauce, and fish sauce. Taste test and adjust if needed. Add chicken wings and toss evenly to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight covered in the fridge for best results.
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Spread chicken in a single layer on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Bake for 40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- In a small bowl, mix Sriracha and honey until combined.
- Brush wings with glaze, switch oven to broil (400°F for about 2 minutes). Broil until golden brown. Flip and repeat. Transfer to a serving platter and serve.
