The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department has completed development work at six ashrams on the 84-Kosi Parikrama Route in Ayodhya at a cost of ₹20.64 crore. Facilities including rest houses, toilets, drinking water points, food stalls and signage have been added. Officials said the upgrade will improve pilgrim comfort and boost religious tourism in the region.
