To choose the correct size always measure the dog around the body, just behind the front legs. Measure snugly, and then add an extra 5-percent to find the actual adjusted size of the harness girth. Or, measure the length of the girth strap from the dog’s current harness. This harness goes on over the head. Start by unbuckling the clip on the girth, then place the head through the opening made by the shoulder straps. Lift the left front leg over the center strap, then clip the girth strap closed. Adjust the fit of all four adjustable straps as needed. The harness should be removed from the dog when the leash comes off and it should not be left on an unattended dog.
