Russian president Vladimir Putin on Sunday mocked the West amid the Ukraine war. During his address at the United Russia party Congress, Putin accused the Western governments of attempting to destabilise Russia while continuing to support Ukraine, alleging that Kyiv had resorted to attacks on civilians and infrastructure. He claimed Moscow would overcome all current challenges, strengthen its security, protect its borders, and continue implementing long-term economic and technological development plans despite the ongoing conflict. Putin also emphasized national unity, praised Russian soldiers, volunteers, and frontline workers, and said the country would continue supporting its military.
