A two-room structure believed to be around 150–200 years old has been identified in Navi Mumbai’s Khairane-Mahape MIDC area. Archaeology Department officials conducted a preliminary inspection after a complaint by Sanket Doke. The structure’s exact age and purpose require further study, while activists have demanded immediate protection and conservation of the potential heritage site.
