Maharashtra Govt To Set Up Solar Power Projects At 19 Colleges Across Three Districts In 18 Months

The Maharashtra government plans to install 45 MW solar power capacity across 19 colleges in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nashik and Nanded within 18 months. Higher Education Minister Chandrakant Patil reviewed the project under the MAHAPREIT MoU. The initiative includes battery storage systems and aims to reduce electricity expenses of educational institutions through renewable energy solutions.
