A major federal fraud crackdown has hit Minnesota, with FBI Director Kash Patel announcing that authorities executed 17 search warrants in a single day and arrested four people in cases involving more than $41 million in alleged fraud.Patel said the searches included child-care centers, autism-service facilities and homes linked to child-care center owners. Federal officials said the four defendants are accused in separate Medicaid-related schemes involving millions of dollars in allegedly fraudulent claims.The raids are part of a much broader Minnesota fraud offensive.
