A civil society organization called for a 48-hour shutdown in Manipur's valley after the killing of three villagers. The shutdown resulted in the closure of various businesses, schools, and public transportation services. Despite protests and roadblocks in Imphal East and Imphal West, no violence has been reported during this period. Authorities arrested three suspects believed to be involved in the killings and recovered weapons.
