A Greek literature professor researching ancient manuscripts at Utrecht University discovered a tiny parchment fragment containing part of Homer's “The Odyssey.” Believed to date to around 300 A.D., the 2.6-by-3-inch fragment describes the dramatic episode involving Odysseus, Helios and the sun god's sacred cattle. Researchers believe it may have belonged to a small edition of the ancient epic produced in Egypt.
