Maharashtra Airport Development Company has invited bids to appoint a consultant for a detailed techno-economic feasibility study of the proposed Vadhavan Offshore Airport in Palghar. Planned as India's first greenfield offshore international airport under the PPP model, the project aims to serve as the MMR's third airport with a planned capacity of 90 million passengers annually.
