Panvel City Police arrested a 44-year-old man accused of posing as a senior Crime Branch officer to allegedly cheat a Panvel realtor and his associates of Rs 4.75 lakh by promising to recover pending dues. Police said he used a fake uniform and identity card, while two co-accused remain absconding and further investigation is underway.
