Ujjain Municipal Corporation began removing portions of Madina Masjid and Jamiatul Quraish Qassaban Masjid near KD Gate for the Nikas Chauraha-Bada Pull road-widening project. Community members protested and sought relief for part of the structures. Following discussions with the administration, further action was temporarily put on hold amid heavy police deployment.
