Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed unleashed one of his sharpest attacks yet on Donald Trump, JD Vance and Republican rival Mike Rogers, accusing them of backing policies that he says are hurting working families across the state.At a campaign event in Saginaw, El-Sayed mocked Trump’s intelligence, branded Rogers a “sock puppet” for Trump and corporate interests, and took aim at Vance while arguing that Washington’s trade fight with Canada and the ongoing Iran war are driving up costs for Michiganders. He has repeatedly linked higher fuel prices to the Iran conflict and criticized Trump’s tariffs on Canada as damaging to Michigan’s economy.
