Congress group leader Ashraf Azmi has questioned BMC’s decision to procure 27 educational items for civic school students through the GeM portal, alleging tender irregularities. In a letter to Municipal Commissioner Ashwini Bhide, he sought transparency in bidder selection, an independent inquiry into procedural lapses and a halt on finalising contracts until the probe is completed.
