Four high-tech fire bikes have been added to the city’s firefighting fleet to tackle emergencies in narrow lanes and crowded markets. Each bike carries up to 40 litres of water and 4 litres of foam and can draw water from nearby sources. Firefighters are undergoing specialised training to operate them.
