In a major push to strengthen industrial infrastructure and attract fresh investment, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has approved the transfer of 671 kanals of land in Samba district to the Industries and Commerce Department for the development of a state-of-the-art plug-and-play industrial park under the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojna (BHAVYA).Chief Minister Omar Abdullah announced the decision on Saturday, describing the initiative as a significant step towards accelerating industrial growth, promoting entrepreneurship and generating employment opportunities in the Union Territory.
