An unexpected Epstein reference sparked cheers during Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed's speech at a campaign rally in Detroit. As El-Sayed praised former President Barack Obama and contrasted his record with Donald Trump's, an audience member shouted, “Obama's not on the Epstein files either!” The crowd responded with cheers, creating an unscripted moment amid El-Sayed's attacks on Trump over the Iran war, tariffs and healthcare. The incident came as Obama campaigned for El-Sayed ahead of his closely watched Senate contest against Republican Mike Rogers.
