The Borivli RTO has resumed its search for a permanent site after its proposal to take MTNL land in Dahisar East stalled. The RTO needs around 11–12 acres for dedicated driving and vehicle fitness tracks, as tests are currently conducted on an open road behind its office, raising safety concerns for residents and road users.
