Independence Day at Chennai’s Fort St George had a special significance this year, with Chief Minister Vijay hoisting the national flag at the venue for the first time. Among the familiar faces at the ceremony was actor Trisha Krishnan, who quietly caught attention with her traditional look.Trisha was seated in the front row alongside Vijay’s parents, Shoba Chandrasekhar and S.A. Chandrasekhar. Her mother, Uma Krishnan, was also present.A few videos from the ceremony have been doing the rounds online, including one that shows Trisha saluting Vijay as he walked past while carrying out his official duties. But, as expected, her outfit also got people talking.
