Mumbai’s Centre for Study of Society and Secularism and Nirmala Niketan will host a national seminar on October 16 to mark Mahatma Jyotirao Phule’s 200th birth anniversary. The event will examine his ideas on religion, rationality, social reform, equality, justice, marginalised communities and the relevance of Satyashodhak thought in contemporary India.
