The Bombay High Court disposed of singer Sonu Nigam’s intellectual property suit after a settlement over the use of his name on social media. The singer had sought protection of his personality rights, alleging possible public confusion. Sonu Nigam Singh agreed not to use the singer’s name, image or likeness online, with the terms accepted by the court.
