Opinion - Liberia's economic debate often treats unemployment, high bank lending rates, poverty, inequality and non-performing loans as separate problems. They are not. They are interconnected symptoms of an economy that has struggled for decades to create enough productive employment, broaden access to capital and distribute economic opportunities beyond a relatively small circle of politically connected and economically privileged people.
