Two migrant workers from North India were shot dead in a targeted terror attack at a brick kiln in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district. Security forces have launched an extensive search operation while police investigate possible links to The Resistance Front (TRF) and Lashkar-e-Taiba. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha chaired a high-level security meeting, ordered a review of migrant worker protection measures and directed intensified anti-terror operations. The attack has heightened security across the Valley during the ongoing Amarnath Yatra.
