The Madhya Pradesh High Court imposed a ₹3 lakh penalty per duplicate faculty member on nursing colleges earlier declared “suitable”. Colleges depositing the fine within one month can conduct examinations and release students’ results. The CBI found duplicate faculty in 119 “suitable” and 153 “deficient” colleges. Each concerned college must also plant 50 saplings.
