The Ujjain Municipal Corporation (UMC) executed an early morning demolition drive on Sunday, razing an unauthorized Rs 1-crore 'Sant Niwas' inside the 11-Mukhi Virat Hanuman Temple complex on Ankapaat Road. Built illegally within the designated Simhastha area despite a notice nine months prior, the 20-room structure was reduced to rubble within three hours using two JCB machines.
