Maharashtra Govt Orders 100 Per Cent Safety Inspection Of All Manholes After Mumbai's Sakinaka Death
The Maharashtra Government has ordered a 100% safety inspection of all Mumbai manholes within eight days after a 55-year-old man died after falling into an open sewer manhole in Sakinaka. Four BMC officials have been suspended, a probe has been ordered and criminal action is being initiated against the contractor.
