Kalachowki Police booked a 62-year-old man after a complaint alleged he entered a Jain temple in Lalbaug wearing shoes and damaged an under-construction door frame. The complainant, Ritesh Jain, alleged the accused had earlier objected to religious activities. Police registered a case under relevant Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita provisions and are investigating further.
