Jammu & Kashmir: CBI Arrests Fireman Red-Handed While Allegedly Accepting ₹15,000 Bribe For Hotel NOC In Katra
The CBI has arrested a Fire and Emergency Services fireman in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, for allegedly accepting a ₹15,000 bribe to process and issue an NOC for a hotel in Katra. The agency said the accused initially demanded ₹40,000 before agreeing to ₹15,000. CBI officials caught him allegedly demanding and accepting the amount during a trap on October 6.
