The BMC and Customs Department have signed an MoU to restore Mumbai's 800-year-old Mahim Fort and rejuvenate its three-acre precinct at an estimated cost of ₹20 crore. The two-year project includes structural conservation, a pedestrian walkway and heritage improvements, with plans to develop the site into a major tourist attraction.
