The Maharashtra government approved the 3.55 km Bandra Fort Connector project to improve traffic flow from the Swatantryaveer Savarkar Sea Link towards Pali Hill and Taj Lands End. The four-lane road, to be built by MSRDC, will cost ₹1,722.40 crore. The connector aims to reduce congestion on narrow existing routes in Bandra West.
