Ten years after the CBI and ED began probes against Vijay Mallya and Kingfisher Airlines, the trial has yet to begin and investigations remain ongoing. Mallya says assets worth over Rs 14,131 crore have been attached against a liability of Rs 6,203 crore. He is also challenging his fugitive economic offender status and pursuing related legal proceedings.
