Liquor-Related Offences Account For 33% Of Crimes Registered Across Madhya Pradesh
Overall registered cases in Madhya Pradesh declined from more than 4.94 lakh in 2023 to 4.35 lakh in 2025, but liquor-related offences continue to account for a substantial share. More than 80,000 cases involving roadside drinking, liquor transportation and similar Excise Act violations were registered across the state in 2025.
