With Morbe dam's usable stock at 69.16%, NMMC plans to reduce daily water extraction from 480 MLD to 400 MLD without cutting household drinking water. Restrictions will target gardens, construction sites and vehicle washing, alongside greater use of treated sewage, leakage control and a new dam project targeted for completion within three years.
