BEST plans to recruit 181 retired soldiers through the Soldier Board to strengthen security at depots and installations, officials said. The move aims to address staff shortages, improve surveillance and curb encroachments on public land. BEST has also proposed raising the upper recruitment age from 40 to 45 to widen eligibility.
