Hundreds of adivasis from SGNP and Yeoor marched towards Raj Bhavan demanding forest rights, protection from displacement, basic amenities and conservation of Mumbai’s green zones. The 38-km protest march opposes the SGNP Eco-sensitive Zone development plan, alleged eviction threats and the proposed privatisation of tribal Ashram Schools.
