In a major environmental protection initiative ahead of the annual Manimahesh Yatra, the Chamba district administration has banned the sale of small plastic-packaged items, including water bottles, chips, namkeen and similar products, along the Hadsar-Dal Lake pilgrimage route to curb plastic pollution in the ecologically sensitive Manimahesh valley.
