RJD on Monday renominated Rekha Gupta for the July 30 Bankipur assembly by-poll, despite Congress staking claim to the seat, exposing friction within the INDIA bloc. Congress said its high command will decide whether to contest. The seat fell vacant after BJP's Nitin Nabin was elected to the Rajya Sabha, while the BJP is yet to announce its candidate.
