The TurboTax fee is for using the TurboTax software to prepare your tax return. You have to pay the fee whether or not your e-file is accepted. TurboTax cannot and does not guarantee that the IRS will accept your e-file. If the IRS rejected your e-filed tax return then the return has not been filed...

Turbo tax charged me for the filing. IRS states that the 2024 were never filed.
