Bhopal Master Plan 2047 Sparks Farmers' Protest As BKS Opposes Bhojtal Influence Zone Restrictions; Demands Scientific Survey, Compensation
Bharatiya Kisan Sangh protested proposed agricultural land restrictions under the Bhojtal Influence Zone in the Bhopal Master Plan 2047. Farmers demanded a scientific catchment survey, opposed the expansion of BIZ-0, BIZ-1 and BIZ-2, and sought compensation for economic losses. They also rejected Transferable Development Rights as compensation for affected agricultural land.
