The Supreme Court has directed a Maharashtra university to declare the sixth and eighth semester results of a B.Pharm student whose Scheduled Tribe certificate had been cancelled, and to issue her degree certificate and return her original educational documents if she has qualified. At the same time, the Court made clear that the student cannot use the cancelled ST certificate for any future education or public employment.
