Madhya Pradesh’s school education department has decided to return to Direct Benefit Transfer for uniform assistance, replacing the proposed distribution of stitched uniforms to government school students. The move follows uncertainty over a roughly ₹350-crore uniform tender that was stayed by the High Court and subsequently cancelled after its intervention.
