Mumbai Police Send Tribal Students Back To Nashik After Protest Over Ashram Schools, Hostel Facilities
Mumbai Police moved tribal students out of the city on Tuesday after their planned Azad Maidan protest over tribal hostels and ashram schools was not permitted, officials said. The students, staying at Congress's Tilak Bhavan in Dadar, were put on private buses towards Nashik. Police denied formally arresting them, while Congress alleged students were detained from inside its office.
