Hundreds of devotees gathered at South Indian temples across Mumbai to observe Guru Peyarchi, the transit of Lord Jupiter from Gemini to Cancer. Special homams, abhishekams and prayers were conducted at temples including the South Indian Bhajana Samaj and Sri Sankara Mattham in Matunga to seek blessings for prosperity, wisdom and well-being.
