Gurugram’s population has already crossed 20 lakh, and is projected to nearly hit 96 lakh by 2041. Yet, the city’s core drainage network, particularly in old Gurugram, has not seen its capacity expanded in over two decades, even as the city has poured more than ?500 crore into waterlogging fixes since 2016.
