India and Uzbekistan elevated their relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. They set an ambitious target of five billion dollars in annual bilateral trade. Cooperation will deepen across many sectors including defence and critical minerals. A framework for long-term uranium supply from Uzbekistan to India was agreed. Both nations will establish a Coordination Council at the foreign minister level.
