IRCTC has initiated legal action against an influencer after the Trustified YouTube channel claimed a Rail Neer sample contained bromate 8.4 times above the prescribed limit. IRCTC said the claim concerns a particular sample and defended its quality checks under BIS and FSSAI rules. The corporation maintained Rail Neer is manufactured with required safety standards for railway passengers.
