MMRDA has begun rehabilitating 100 eligible Garib Nagar families displaced during the clearance of railway land for Bandra Terminus expansion. Possession letters were issued to 94 families on the first day, with 16 allotted homes at HDIL Kurla and 84 at Bhandari Metalurgy. The remaining six families are expected to receive letters shortly.
