Raigad District Declares Holiday For All Schools And Colleges On July 7 Amid IMD Red Alert For Extreme Heavy Rain
Raigad district administration has declared a holiday for all anganwadis, schools and colleges on July 7 following an IMD Red Alert for extremely heavy rainfall. District Collector Kishan N. Jawale issued the order under the Disaster Management Act after continuous rains and tehsildar recommendations. Teachers and staff must remain available for disaster management duties during office hours.
