Over 3 Lakh Join Maharashtra’s ‘Maha Walkathon – Walk For Water’ To Promote Soil And Water Conservation
More than three lakh people participated in Maharashtra’s Maha Walkathon – Walk for Water across all 36 districts on Friday. Soil and Water Conservation Minister Sanjay Rathod said the campaign aimed to build a water-secure Maharashtra through public participation. The state-level event in Worli marked Water Conservation Day and promoted the message of saving soil and conserving water.
