BEST has initiated the process to hand over the Dharavi and Kalakilla depots for redevelopment under the Adani-led Dharavi Redevelopment Project. While NMDPL will build a temporary depot for 145 buses, BEST is working on arrangements for the remaining fleet as two multi-storey depots are planned over the next five to seven years.
